So just how do you get to The End? Well, first, you’ll need some pearls.
Minecraft‘s Ender Dragon is finally reaching Xbox Live, after suffering some delays, and to remind players what to expect in Title Update 9, a new trailer’s out showing off that Dragon in all its glory. Bear in mind, if you want to kill him, you’ll have to put in a lot of work; but you’re not getting out of that End Portal unless you do.
This isn’t quite the same End as the Java version of Minecraft, though – naturally – Xbox Live developers 4J Studios is keeping some secrets to itself. There are all kinds of tweaks coming, including a fix to an unfortunate Ender Pearl bug that, till now, had been causing grief. If you were looking for an exact release date, keep on dreaming, but if it’s any consolation 4J is almost done fixing those pesky bugs. The Update will hit Live very soon.
So if you’re feeling heroic, now you know: first the pearls, then the powder, then the portal, then the dragon eats you. What could be simpler than that?
