A new zombie-killing gun? Shiny.
The Replacers have returned with gameplay footage from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Vengeance DLC, including a glimpse of the new Multiplayer maps Cove, Detour, Rush, and uplink. Plus for those of you who can’t get enough of zombies – you can’t hide, your glowing eyes give you away – there’s a look at the Buried co-op and the latest Ray Gun Mk II, all the better to blow holes in your undead foe.
Cove is the forgotten island paradise map, after the unfortunate detour of a smuggler’s plane. Detour has you shooting it out on a suspension bridge, while Rush is for those of you who enjoy close quarters combat. Uplink is a re-imagining of the fan-favorite Summit map, and takes you to a mountaintop facility in the jungles of Myanmar. Buried takes place in an underground old West mining town, and that Ray Gun isn’t just for show; once acquired, it’ll be available in every Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 zombie map.
The Vengeance DLC drops July 2nd on Xbox Live; the release for other platforms hasn’t been revealed yet.
