Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Awoken 2.1 Update

Get Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PC for $15. Or, if you want to go real old school, a PS1 copy of Chrono Cross for $7.50.

Square Enix is getting in on the holiday discount spirit, with 50 percent off a whole bunch of its inventory at its online store. Several recent hits are available, like well-received MMO reboot Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, for $15 as either a PC download or physical copy. The PS3 version can be had for $20. Tomb Raider is also up for grabs for $15 as a PC download or $20 for a PS3 or Xbox 360 copy. The sale lasts until Jan. 5 and includes free shipping for orders over $100 to all of the lower 48 American states.

While some of you are certainly saving up your money for the annual tradition that is the Steam Holiday Sale, Square Enix’s catalog actually includes several older gems you won’t find on Valve’s service. If you still have a PS2 lying around, you can grab a copy of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria for $10. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, the PSP remake of the first game in the series, can be had for $15.

And for you PS1 RPG fans, Chrono Trigger sequel Chrono Cross is available for a mere $7.50. And speaking of Chrono Trigger, that’s available as part of PS1 compilation Final Fantasy Chronicles, where it’s packaged with Final Fantasy IV, for $7.50. Same goes for the PS1’s Final Fantasy Anthology, which includes Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI. While most of these games have been repackaged again by Square since their release, there’s still some good deals to be had by nostalgic JRPG fans this holiday season.
