Midnight City Reveals Indie Releases for Q1 2014

Double Dragon Neon

Indie publisher Midnight City will be releasing Krautscape, Slender: The Arrival, and Double Dragon Neon in 2014’s first quarter.

Midnight City, Majesco Entertainment Company’s indie game publisher, launched last year and immediately set itself to the task of helping indie developers produce and distribute their works. Now, with the new year beginning, it has unveiled its first batch of games slated for release in Q1 2014.

The games in the indie-centric publisher’s announcement include Krautscape, Slender: The Arrival and Double Dragon: Neon. Krautscape is a racing game from developer Mario von Rickenbach that will feature challenging and competitive tracks as well as flying cars. Midnight City’s version of Slender: The Arrival, in turn, will bring the popular horror game to PS3 and Xbox 360 with unique console content that PC owners will also receive for free as an update. Double Dragon: Neon, of course, is Abstraction’s reboot of the classic side-scrolling beat-em-up franchise and will feature online co-op that we’re sure franchise fans will appreciate.

While no specific release dates have been announced for any of the three games, Midnight City has confirmed that they’ll only cost $9.99 each. Here’s hoping we can get our hands on them soon and the rest of the year sees the publisher putting out a similar stream of strong and interesting releases.
