Adios Is a Thought-Provoking but Quite Short Narrative Experience – Review in 3 Minutes

Recommended Videos

Adios is a cinematic first-person game developed and published by Mischief. You play as a seasoned pig farmer from Kansas who attempts to cut ties with the mob, who’s been using your pigs to dispose of dead bodies. As the story unfolds, you begin to discover more of your past, your character’s morals, and even bond a bit with your former colleague. The time you spend with this gentleman determines the rest of your life, so be aware of your next move.

The game feels more like the third act of a movie, minus the big climax. The short game offers some strong voice acting, a decent story, and a thought-provoking conclusion. There isn’t a ton of gameplay or replayability, and the visuals aren’t going to be the selling point for most. However, if you have a PC and are looking to invest in a narrative-driven title that explores some powerful themes, then Adios is for you.

Adios is available now for Xbox and PC for $17.99.
