Assassin’s Creed Valhalla & Watch Dogs: Legion Get Xbox Series X | S Release Dates

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion have been given new release dates to coincide with the launch of Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which was previously scheduled to hit shelves on Nov. 17, will now launch on Nov. 10 for Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. Meanwhile, Watch Dogs: Legion will still launch its Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions on Oct. 29, with its next-gen Xbox version now scheduled to arrive on Nov. 10 as well.

As with many (but not all) upcoming releases, both Ubisoft games will offer free next-gen upgrades.

The last time we got an update on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft gave us a gameplay deep dive, showing off many of the Viking game’s new features. Watch Dogs: Legion likewise showcased more gameplay a few months back.

This game release date news follows today’s confirmation that Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will launch on Nov. 10.

Sony’s PlayStation 5 consoles are still without an officially announced price and release date, but you can probably expect to hear when Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs: Legion will come to that platform sometime soon.
