“Tap your way to victory.”
Gearbox launched its newest game, Battleborn, today, but it didn’t arrive alone. Today Battleborn Tap was also announced – a mobile companion game that is now available for iOS and Android.
“Starting today, players can join the fight to save the last star in the universe on their mobile devices, while earning exclusive rewards for Battleborn on PS4/Xbox One/PC,” a press release reads. “In Battleborn Tap, players command their squad of heroes on the field of battle, as they TAP their way to victory over waves of enemies and menacing bosses.”
Players will take on “waves of enemies and menacing bosses,” with the ability to unlock unspecified “exclusive rewards” for Battleborn across all platforms, earn in-game achievements in order to collect special rewards, and unlock, hire, and command heroes. And if you link a SHiFT account you will receive the gold Orendi skin, redeemable across all platforms for the main Battleborn game.
“Grow and customize those heroes by collecting and spending gold shards to upgrade your heroes’ skills and abilities to give your squad the best fighting chance against increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Find and equip gear just like in the console version of Battleborn to help boost your heroes’ stats and make them even more powerful.”
