AMC has done away with the coded messages and outright confirmed an April 18, 2022 release date for the premiere of Better Call Saul season 6, the final season of the show. The release date confirmation comes via a second Better Call Saul season 6 teaser clip, this time focusing on a “wanted poster” for a $5,000,000 reward for information leading to the capture of Jimmy McGill, aka Saul Goodman. Saul himself walks by to casually tear the flyer down before the teaser concludes. There is a phone number on the wanted poster that you can actually call, but it doesn’t seem to yield any story clues.
Each season of Better Call Saul starts with a black-and-white scene taking place in the present, after the events of Breaking Bad have concluded, where Saul is trying to live a new, bland life with a new name and identity that he bought. Thus, this season 6 teaser takes place in the present too, and many fans are speculating that these black-and-white flash-forwards will not be relegated to just the opening of the season this time. It is likely this season will end the story of Jimmy McGill altogether — for both the past and present versions.
You didn't see anything.

The first Better Call Saul season 6 teaser arrived on Monday and hid its release date in clues that fans swiftly decoded. Still, it is nice to know the premiere date for sure now. This season has been intensely anticipated by critics and longtime fans alike, both because the writing is fantastic and because the fates of so many characters are currently on the line. It actually feels somewhat lucky that this season is even happening, since star Bob Odenkirk suffered a heart attack during filming.
