Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Experiment 101 have announced that Biomutant will release on May 25, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. More information will be revealed over the next several weeks and months.
In Biomutant, you are guided through the New World by someone called the Storyteller who narrates your journey. An event called End is coming to the New World, in which a plague is ruining the land and the Tree-of-Life’s roots are bleeding. As the land’s Tribes are divided, it’s up to the player to unite them or bring them down and decide how the story ends.

Biomutant also has two collector’s editions to preorder, the hardcore Atomic Edition and the regular Collector’s Edition. The Atomic Edition includes the game, a high-detailed diorama, a steel book, an L/XL shirt, an oversized mouse pad, fabric artwork, a soundtrack, and a premium box. It is priced at $399.99 at selected retailers.
The regular Collector’s Edition is $109.99 on PC and $119.99 on consoles and includes the fabric artwork, soundtrack, and premium box from the Atomic Edition, as well as a copy of the game and a figurine of the main hero.
Despite how much time has passed since the game’s initial announcement in 2017 until now, there still hasn’t been any information about whether an upgraded version ofĀ Biomutant will be released for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X | S. Biomutant was previously shown off last year during IGN’s Summer of Gaming.
