Black Panther: Wakanda Forever teaser trailer release date Namor Tenoch Huerta

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer Strikes Somber, Celebratory Tone

Rumors and theories have swirled around what Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be about after the passing of Chadwick Boseman as the titular character, and now we have our first official clue. Marvel dropped the first teaser trailer for Black Pander: Wakanda Forever at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2022 tonight, and it’s emotional, dramatic, powerful, and full of actor Tenoch Huerta as Namor the Sub-Mariner.

We can obviously tell that Black Panther will be dead in this film as Boseman is not being replaced and the trailer opens with everyone in mourning. However, it appears that Namor, a sometimes-hero-sometimes-villain from the comics, will be playing a major role in the film. There is a lot of water in this Black Panther: Wakanda Forever teaser trailer alongside the powerful female characters from Wakanda.

That includes our first glimpse of Tenoch Huerta as Namor. Just how Wakanda and the underwater nation that Namor leads come to clash against each other isn’t clear, but it definitely seems like things won’t be so good between the two. It also appears that for the most part it will be up to Shuri, M’Baku, and Queen Ramonda to figure it all out. The only hint of an actual Black Panther we get is at the end of the trailer, with a quick look at someone in his costume.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will release on November 11, 2022, ending MCU Phase 4.
