Bruce Willis Could Star in Kane and Lynch Film

The star of Die Hard has received an offer to play Kane from Eidos’s Kane and Lynch: Dead Men.

The movie adaptation of the game is being helmed by first-time lead director Simon Crane, whose previous credits include stunt coordinator duties for Troy, X-Men: The Last Stand and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Both Willis and Crane are cooperating on Touchstone Pictures’ The Surrogate.

Writer Kyle Ward has completed a script based on the Kane and Lynch storyline where the mercenary pair seeks a stolen microchip. Once an actor for the second lead character, James Lynch, is chosen, shooting is expected to begin by year’s end.
