On Twitter, Geoff Keighley revealed that viewers will receive a special look at BioWare’s next Dragon Age game on Thursday, Dec. 10, during The Game Awards 2020. No other specific information was provided, so this reveal could range anywhere from being just a few more glimpses at concept art to perhaps being a fully rendered trailer.
This comes after the news yesterday that Mark Darrah, executive producer of Dragon Age, is leaving BioWare, along with Casey Hudson, BioWare general manager. The next Dragon Age will now be headed by Christian Dailey, and Matthew Goldman continues as the creative director for the project.

The game was previously teased at Gamescom Opening Night back in August, with BioWare showing some behind-the-scenes stuff containing in-game development footage, actors in motion capture suits, and voice actors recording lines in a booth.
The next Dragon Age is still in early production, and release windows and platforms have not been revealed. However, since BioWare stated that this project is looking to take advantage of the new generation’s hardware, it will likely release on at least PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Hopefully, we’ll get some more substantial information about the game next week at The Game Awards, especially pertaining to the story.
