Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes release date 2023 rising spin-off

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Launches in 2023, Spin-Off Announced for 2022

Rabbit & Bear Studios’ Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the spiritual successor to Suikoden, has been pushed to 2023, according to its E3 announcement at the Xbox & Bethesda E3 2021 Showcase. However, weā€™re getting a spin-off game in 2022 called Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, though we were only shown a tiny bit of that game. Itā€™ll launch on PC, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and Game Pass.

Eiyuden Chronicle is a Kickstarter-backed project thatā€™s being helmed by several of the same people who worked on Suikoden, hence the ā€œspiritual successorā€ title. Itā€™s a 2.5D JRPG, and the trailer showed off several of the characters whoā€™ll be able to join the party throughout the game. It will also come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The spin-off, Rising, appeared in the video for a few seconds, so we donā€™t yet know exactly what itā€™ll be about or how itā€™ll play, but it seems to be a sidescrolling action game.
