Windwalk CEO Colin Feo said he decided to use Kickstarter because it would allow the studio to develop the game completely independently. The campaign is set to go live on Oct. 22.

The free-to-play title will combine fast-paced action with elements of hidden-role gameplay. Of the six players together on a spaceship, two are randomly selected to be aliens and the teams fight and lie to survive.

Enemy on Board is currently in the middle of a closed alpha test, and interested players can sign up on the game’s website. Windwalk Games already has plans to grow the game by adding new aliens and items. The game will launch on PC and Mac, though a release date has not been announced.
