Hitman 3 Runs Slightly Better on Xbox Series X Than on PS5

Today marks the launch of Hitman 3 (spoilers — it’s very good), and the fine folks over at Digital Foundry have released a breakdown of how it performs across all platforms. We recommend giving their video a watch, but the main takeaway is that the Xbox Series X version performs slightly better than the PlayStation 5 counterpart. On Series X, Hitman 3 runs at 4K 60 FPS, while the PlayStation 5 edition runs at 1800p at 60 FPS. Check out the full breakdown below.

EU Nintendo Switch Online Members Will Get a Free Trial for Dead Cells

For a limited time, European Nintendo Switch Online members can try Dead Cells as part of a Game Trial event. Members will have access to the game from Jan. 26 to Feb. 1 at no additional cost. Takaya Imamura, Designer on F-Zero and Star Fox, Announced His Retirement from Nintendo

Takaya Imamura, best known for his work on the F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda, and Star Fox franchises, has announced his retirement from Nintendo after a long 32-year tenure. Imamura is also known for designing Tingle, the funny fairy character from the Zelda games. The news of his retirement comes by way of Imamura’s personal Facebook page. His intention now is to do some freelance work.

Latest Fortnite Update Adds Predator Skin and Quests

Fortnite is adding yet another beloved licensed character to the mix — the Predator. You can unlock the skin today by defeating the Predator boss at the Stealthy Stronghold location. Also, new quests pertaining to the character have been added, giving you new cosmetics like a glider, emote, and Back Bling.

Fall Guys Isn’t Coming to Xbox Game Pass After All

Recently, Microsoft confirmed via Instagram that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout would be coming to Xbox Game Pass. After the news started making the rounds, the game’s publisher, Devolver Digital, stepped in to dispute that claim, stating that “there are no plans for Fall Guys to come to any form of (Game Pass).” Later on, the official Fall Guys Twitter account corroborated this as well, calling the situation a “mixup.”
