Today, Activision and Infinity Ward gave us all the details about Call of Duty: Warzone Season Six, The Pokémon Company announced it will be revealing more about the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass tomorrow, and more. Call of Duty: Warzone & Modern Warfare Season Six Goes Live Tomorrow

Today, we got a closer look at what to expect from Call of Duty: Warzone Season Six. It will launch tonight at 11 p.m. PT and include a host of new features, including a new subway system added to Verdansk, a limited-time mode called Armored Royale, new weapons, and a slew of maps for Modern Warfare‘s multiplayer. As with all seasonal content, this update will be free and is available to pre-load onto your systems right now.

The Original FarmVille Is Being Discontinued Later This Year

Remember FarmVille? The game even grandma wanted to play through Facebook. Today, Zynga announced that the original FarmVille will be shutting down on Dec. 31, 2020 — due to Adobe ceasing to update Flash Player for all browsers. You’ll have until Nov. 17, 2020 to make any in-app purchases prior to the game’s conclusion at the end of the year. Farmville launched in 2009 and became a global phenomenon — reaching 83.76 million monthly active users at its peak in March 2010.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass News Dropping Tomorrow

Today, The Pokémon Company announced… an announcement for the upcoming Sword and Shield expansion titled The Crown Tundra. This is the second part of the Expansion Pass, the first of which was The Isle of Armor that released this past June. The news will be shared via a YouTube video that will air on Sept. 29 at 6 a.m. PT / 9 a.m. ET. There isn’t much we know about this upcoming expansion, but new Legendary Pokémon will make an appearance, in addition to around a hundred or more returning Pokémon. We hope to get a release date for the expansion as well.

Next Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Update Will Launch in October

Capcom announced the release date of the new Monster Hunter World: Iceborne update, and it’s coming out very soon. It will serve as the game’s fifth free update and will go live on Oct. 1 across all platforms. You can expect to face off against new monsters known as the Fatalis and the Arch-Tempered Velkhana, and quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes will come along for the ride as usual.

Tekken 7 Has Surpassed 6 Million Copies Sold

Tekken 7 director Katsuhiro Harada revealed that the game has now surpassed 6 million copies sold since its 2017 home console release. This brings the total number of copies sold for the entire series to over 50 million units since its debut over 25 years ago — an impressive accomplishment. Tekken 7 has received numerous updates, with season 4 set to launch later this fall. You can grab Tekken 7 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC now.
