Evil Genius 2: World Domination had a release window of sometime in 2020 before a delay pushed the strategy game to the first half of 2021, culminating in today’s release date announcement. At the time of the delay, Rebellion said that it wanted to “deliver a sequel that will do justice to the franchise and be loved and played by the Evil Genius community for years to come, just like the original.” Game delays are all too common these days, so let’s hope this March release date sticks.

The original Evil Genius actually arrived in 2004, meaning the sequel will launch more than 16 years after the first game found its way to players. Evil Genius 2: World Domination aims to bring a bigger and better version of what the first game offered when it comes to PC players in March. There are no announced plans to launch on consoles.
