Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Comes to PS5 in June with New Yuffie Episode

During Sony’s State of Play presentation today, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is coming to PlayStation 5 on June 10. It is an updated re-release of the game that launched last year, with some new upgrades and content. It features enhanced graphics, textures, and lighting, with faster loading times. There are some quality-of-life improvements, such as a performance optimization mode that prioritizes keeping 60 FPS and a graphic optimization that focuses on displaying 4K resolution. However, the biggest addition to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is a new episode featuring Yuffie where you can play as the upbeat ninja girl, and she is joined by a new character named Sonon who uses a staff.

There are new difficulty modes added, such as Normal (Classic), where the player-controlled character will attack and defend automatically, allowing players to focus on executing commands. A brand new photo mode is included as well.

Those who already own a copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake on PlayStation 4 will be eligible for a free upgrade to the PS5 version. Save data carries over too. However, be aware that if you own the physical disc version of the PS4 game, then you will need a PS5 with a disc drive for the upgrade. Yuffie’s episode is available for purchase separately after upgrading to the PS5 version, while Intergrade comes bundled with the episode by default. Integrade will cost $69.99 on PlayStation 5.

So far, it looks like Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is only coming to PlayStation 5. The game released last year and had timed exclusivity on PlayStation 4, so it’s currently unknown if either form of Final Fantasy VII Remake will come to other platforms like Xbox or PC.
