The videogame industry has gone through many monstrous trends, and the latest has to be zombies. Make sure that you don’t get bit in today’s gallery.
The wonderful people at Treyarch knew that you may have some misgivings about killing zombies, so when they added the zombie feature to Call of Duty: World at War they made them Nazis. To take away any sort of grey area about their murder.
When talking about zombies, you can’t leave out Left 4 Dead and their plethora of zombies. In order to explain the zombie outbreak they fell back on a trusted trope: They’re “the infected.”
You may think that you would be safe from zombies in space, heck, you’re far away from the dangerous Earth that spawned so may types of them. But you’d be wrong, horribly wrong, they’re everywhere, and space just makes a better setting for their brain eating agenda.
Not only aren’t you safe in space but they’ve also invaded your own personal world. In Minecraft, they are there only to find you and swarm all over you and kill you. They have no happy little altruistic plans other than to eat your brain.
A vacation isn’t always the best way to leave the stresses of the world behind you. Dead Island made sure that your vacation got a bit more exciting than you had planned by releasing a huge wave of zombies on your idyllic seaside resort. I bet you wish you’d packed your zombie hunting shoes.
There are quite a few things that can go wrong with your day in High School. Juliet Starling, of Lollipop Chainsaw, didn’t expect to wade into a zombie horde at school, but I guess that they’ve started showing up where you’d least expect them.
The zombies from The Last of Us are another brand of infected. They’ve been overcome by spores and just want to bring you into their fold, or rip your head in two, or bite out your throat.
