Gotham Knights Trailer Reveals the Extreme Threat of the Court of Owls

WB Montreal has revealed a Gotham Knights story trailer as part of this year’s DC FanDome event, highlighting the villainous Court of Owls. The video is dark, mysterious, and full of more information about how Gotham City is struggling in the wake of Batman’s death. Where the game’s original reveal showed us the streets of Gotham, this DC FanDome reveal takes us below the city to confront the Court of Owls head-on. You can watch the Gotham Knights story trailer below.

WB Montreal’s Gotham Knights story trailer gives us lots to chew on while we wait for its launch on PC and consoles, but DC FanDome also gave us a behind-the-scenes video that dives into WB Montreal’s work on the game and the origins of the Court of Owls in the comics, which you can watch below. Meanwhile, last year’s gameplay trailer already showed exactly how players will get to take on criminals as Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood, and Nightwing.

Following a delay from earlier this year, Gotham Knights is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S sometime in 2022. Meanwhile, DC FanDome has continued to give us updates on other DC projects, including our first good look at Rocksteady Studios’ Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the first trailer for The Flash with Ezra Miller and Michael Keaton.
