Half-Life 2 VR mod

Half-Life 2 VR Mod Will Let You Punch Combine in the Face

It is hard to improve upon the perfection that is Half-Life 2. Gamers have tried, though, like with the VR mod of Half-Life 2: Episode One this year. Now, 2022’s Half-Life 2: VR Mod got an expansive update in the form of Half-Life 2: VR Mod – Unleashed, released yesterday.

There was also a high-quality trailer uploaded to YouTube:

As you can see, some crazy updates were implemented into Half-Life 2 that were not in the original release. Gordon Freeman can now perform physical melee attacks with any weapon, including his fists, dual-wield any weapon combination, physically jump, has a customizable shoulder position, and more. There are even difficulty tweaks, as well.

Players can download the VR mod here if they want to try it out. I think it looks amazing. After Half-Life: Alyx came out, I was wondering if fans would make mods of the previous entries. Having two Gravity Guns for the Ravenholm section seems almost unfair to the enemy AI, but I doubt gamers will care when they are having so much fun. Plus, you can now punch Headcrabs in the face with your bare hands. What’s not to love?
