Happy Wars Heading to Xbox One

Happy Wars is coming to Xbox One and will feature cross platform play.

The free-to-play game Happy Wars is on its way to Xbox One. The new version of the popular downloadable title was announced by Xbox Live’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb during the pre-stream that ran prior to Microsoft’s E3 2014 press conference. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the new iteration of the game.

The trailer itself ran for about 45 seconds and promised a variety of features including split screen 4-player co-op, cross platform compatability with the Xbox 360 edition. It also indicated that the Xbox One version would include new characters and gameplay in addition to the contents of the original game.

All of this is likely to be pleasing to fans of the Xbox 360 verion which, up to this point, has been the subject of more than 7.5 million unique downloads.
