Hearthstone‘s first single player adventure will be launching on July 22nd.
Hearthstone fans looking forward to diving into the game’s inaugural single player adventure won’t have to wait much longer. The Curse of Naxxramas expansion, originally revealed back in April, will be launching for Windows, Mac and iPad next week on July 22nd.
The release date reveal came via way of an announcement on the Hearthstone website where Blizzard re-affirmed its plans to release the game’s five wings one at a time on a weekly basis following the expansion’s initial launch. As previously announced, it will be begin with the Arachnid Quarter.
“The Arachnid Quarter will be free to play during the Curse of Naxxramas launch event, which will last roughly a month,” said the announcement. “Those brave enough to step foot into the Arachnid Quarter during the launch event will unlock it permanently for free.”
Each additional wing after that will cost $6.99 USD or 700 in-game gold. A bundle pack will also be available allowing Hearthstone fans to buy all five wings at once for a single $24.99 fee. While that price tag might not sit too well with fans who enjoy the game’s free-to-play nature, we somehow suspect that the promise of 30 new cards may be enough to iron over an hard feelings.
