  1. Start a New MyNBA Season: Begin by starting a new MyNBA season, upon which youā€™ll see the ā€œAssociation Setupā€ screen. This is where you can control all the aspects of how you want to run your new league.
  2. Access Association Setup Screen: Youā€™ll see a bunch of different options on this screen. As you go through the setup process, keep an eye out for the ā€œBudget and Financesā€ menu. Youā€™ll see the menu has ā€œHard Capā€ and ā€œSalary Capā€ options turned on by default; simply turn these off. Also, disable the ā€œDead Capā€ from the ā€œAdvanced CBA Rulesā€ menu.
  3. Access Setup Options: Just above the ā€œBudget and Financesā€ menu, youā€™ll see ā€œSetup Options.” Go to ā€œCustomize Salary Capā€ and hit advance.Ā
  4. Turn Off Salary Cap on Contracts Screen: After hitting advance, you need to turn off the ā€œSalary Capā€ and ā€œNegotiated Contractsā€ from the contracts screen. This action will remove the financial limits that restrict your ability to sign and manage players.
  5. Disable Trade Logic: Go to ā€œCustomize Advanced Settingsā€ in Setup Options and scroll until you reach the ā€œTradesā€ menu. The first option on this screen is ā€œTrade Logic,ā€ which is enabled by default. Deactivate this, and youā€™re good to go.
  6. Check If It Worked: Sometimes, the Salary Cap still remains on, and you can check that by going into the MyNBA in your team Calendar. Go to ā€œFront Office,ā€ then ā€œFinances,ā€ and finally, go to ā€œSalary Cap Breakdown.ā€ If everything is correct, you should see an empty space where it says ā€œSalary Cap Room,ā€ you will see a number if the process didnā€™t work. You can go to the main MyNBA menu, Options,Ā  then to ā€œTuning Slidersā€ and the ā€œContractsā€ screen. Disable the Salary Cap again if itā€™s still on.Ā
  7. Confirm and Start Your Season: After youā€™ve turned off the salary cap, make sure to confirm your changes. Proceed to start your MyNBA season with these new settings. Enjoy the freedom to build your team without financial constraints.
  8. Save Your Settings: Donā€™t forget to save your settings! This is crucial to ensure that your changes are retained. You wouldnā€™t want to set everything up perfectly only to lose it because you forgot to save.

And thatā€™s how you can turn off the Salary Cap in NBA 2K24.
