ID@Xbox Indie Showcase Xbox Twitch

Xbox and Twitch Team Up to Show Over 100 Indie Games Next Week

Xbox Wire has announced that ID@Xbox and Twitch are collaborating for their first-ever indie games showcase on Friday, March 26. The presentation will start at 9 a.m. PT / noon ET and will be shown exclusively on Twitch’s Twitch Gaming and Xbox’s official channel.

There will over 100 games shown by independent developers all over the world. Some developers and publishers confirmed for the showcase include DrinkBox Studios, Curve Digital, Devolver Digital, and Dear Villagers. Additionally, there were be more than 25 games with new trailers and gameplay, such as Second Extinction, The Ascent, The Wild at Heart, Voidtrain, Exo One, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.

Furthermore, the Twitch event will include announcements of more indie titles that will come to Xbox and Xbox Game Pass. Viewers will have the opportunity to earn game codes during the show while hosts interview the various developers.

In other recent Xbox news, Xbox recently completed its acquisition of Bethesda and released a large back catalog of the company’s titles into Xbox Game Pass, several of them with FPS Boost enhancements. More JRPGs like Octopath Traveler and Nier: Automata joined the service as well earlier this week, and EA Play heads to Xbox Game Pass for PC today.
