Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R Is a Huge, Revamped Fighting Game

With a full roster of characters and an authentic art style, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R aims to be the ultimate Jojo package for fighting game fans when it comes to PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S in fall 2022. Bandai Namco revealed it during Sony’s March 9 State of Play showcase, promising 50 playable characters from across Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure history. That means fan-favorites like Jotaro Kujo, DIO, Jonathan Joestar, Jolyne Cujoh, and more will get to brawl in never-before-seen scenarios. Each character will have their own special moves and a range of customization options, and the game will have “six different game modes for everyone from beginners to fighting game veterans.”

Jojo gaming fans will remember the original Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle from 2013. This new release introduces a revamped and improved version of the original’s combat system, giving players dashes, new combos, and other tools to experiment with. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R will also bring a host of game modes, including its flagship offering, All-Star Battle Mode. Those who jump into All-Star Battle Mode will be met with more than 100 battles to master.

Aside from the action, references, and multi-punch beatdowns, the reveal trailer confirms that the Japanese voice actors have returned to reprise their roles in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R. You can see it for yourself below.
