EA has revealed some new gameplay footage and information on Mass Effect: Andromeda.
EA has finally given us a peek into what’s next for the Mass Effect franchise by pulling back the curtain on Mass Effect Andromeda. In the trailer to the right, you’ll see a mixture of gameplay and design, as EA talks a bit about its vision for the game.
In the trailer, we see the Mako driving, some jetpack usage, and your new personal ship, the Tempest, in action, as well as several aliens, old and new. It ends with a shot of a woman waking up from cryogenic stasis, uttering “we made it” as the title screen comes across the screen. It looks like the core of this game will be humanity spreading out to colonize an entirely new galaxy (hopefully Reaper free?)
Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated for release in January, 2017, although EA didn’t give a more solid date than that. It will be released on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
