I just forgot about Star Wars: The Force Awakens for a minute.
A new theatrical trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road just hit the web, and as Fearless Leader Greg Tito just told me, “That is CGI DONE F**KING RIGHT.”
The latest take on the man known as Max is written and directed by none other than George Miller, the man behind Mad Max, The Road Warrior, and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. Starring is Tom Hardy (The Dark Knight Rises), Charlize Theron (Prometheus), and Nicholas Hoult (Young Beast in the latest X-Men films).
I have to echo Greg’s sentiment here, as the combination of CGI and practical effects in this trailer is stellar, to say the least. And per usual, Max is not one to fill the screen with words, as his dialogue appears somewhat limited in the teaser. As for everything else in the trailer? I’ll leave it to you to watch (or not watch, for the media blackout crowd).
The full, post-apocalyptic monty is coming your way on May 15th, 2015 in North America.
