Tom Clancy’s The Division, another big-name Ubisoft title, has been hit with a lengthy delay.
Ubisoft is starting to make a habit of delaying it’s biggest name titles, with Watch Dogs getting hit with a delay a mere month before it’s scheduled release, and now, Tom Clancy’s The Division being pushed back to 2015. The title, which is being developed for PS4, Xbox One, and, following some overwhelming fan feedback, PC, was announced at last year’s E3, and although no official release date was given, most people assumed we’d see it within a year.
“Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment,” reads the post from the development team. “We are creating something we are really proud of and we don’t want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it’s ready.”
“We want to thank you again for the exceptional ongoing support. Community is at the heart of what we are doing and we’re very much designing the game with you in mind, so your involvement means a lot to us,” it added.
More information should be revealed at Ubisoft’s press conference at this year’s E3.
