Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Adds April O’Neil & CatDog to the Roster

Publisher GameMill Entertainment revealed at this year’s Future Games Show two new characters for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, CatDog and Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesApril O’Neil. Each character got their own trailer showing off their respective moves as part of Gamescom 2021, with CatDog’s inclusion bringing an overly muscular Dog as well as the duo’s fish-bone house as a location. The four-player, online-capable Super Smash Bros.-style fighting game already has a roster that’s more impressive than it has any right to be. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has major Nickelodeon stars such as SpongeBob, Patrick, Danny Phantom, and Invader Zim showing up for the beatdown in addition to CatDog and April O’Neil, but it also includes sometimes forgotten characters, like Powdered Toast Man and Oblina. Ludosity and Fair Play Labs are fleshing out the brawler roster with fighters from across Nickelodeon’s far-reaching history.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl launches for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S sometime this fall. Expect additional characters to be announced throughout the next few months. Meanwhile, you will see more April O’Neil because she was revealed yesterday as a playable character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge.
