Publisher Bandai Namco and developer ILCA just gave us a treasure trove of new One Piece Odyssey screenshots that show off the monsters and settings that await Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat crew. The batch of images comes from the turn-based RPG’s website and tease an epic adventure ahead.
One Piece Odyssey seems to be shaping up to be a true One Piece experience, as these new screenshots of its world and monsters illustrate.
One Piece Odyssey was revealed last month with a trailer that promised to bring authentic RPG gameplay to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC via Steam sometime in 2022. New and familiar creatures appear in this original adventure, and they all seem to remain true to the spirit of One Piece. That’s thanks to the franchise’s creator, Eiichiro Oda, working with ILCA and Bandai Namco to design the characters and monsters. Oda’s influence will also be present in the narrative, which he created just for One Piece Odyssey.
