Sony Computer Entertainment has said its PlayStation 3 console will start supporting uploads of gameplay onto YouTube.
The news was first reported in a Japanese business newspaper, Nikkei, which said Sony was looking to integrate the popular Google-owned video service with PS3 games.
The first game to feature the integration will be Mainiche Issho, a free downloadable casual game in Japan.
Speaking later to Gamespot, a Sony official confirmed the news and said it will be available not just in Japan, but in all regions.
The decision to include YouTube integration will be handled by individual studios and developers, the Sony official said.
