Xbox One players will soon get their chance to get in on the Project Spark beta… project.
A beta testing Microsoft’s game-maker Project Spark on Xbox One will begin in February, developer Team Dakota announced yesterday on Facebook. The beta comes slightly behind the anticipated “January 2014” window the studio announced back at Gamescom.
A beta for the Window 8 version of Project Spark has been open since last month. Players already putting the game through its paces on PC will automatically have receive access on Xbox One, plus a second code to send to a friend when the Xbox One beta begins. Players will be able to access projects created with the Windows 8 version on Xbox One.
There’s still no word on whether there will be a beta for the Xbox 360 version of Project Spark. The game is expected to launch on all platforms in 2014. For now, Windows 8 and Xbox One players can sign up for the beta on the Project Spark website.
