RGG Summit 2022 Yakuza 8 & Judgment PC news on September 14 Sega Twitch channel trailer release date

RGG Summit 2022 Set for Next Week: Brace Yourself for Yakuza Franchise News

Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have announced RGG Summit 2022, a livestream event airing on the Sega Twitch channel on September 14 at 6:00 a.m. ET / 3:00 a.m. PT / 19:00 JST (pretty early in North America). It will provide announcements for unspecified projects, and the event will offer “live English interpretation and subtitled assets for viewers outside of Japan.” Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is the creator of the Yakuza and related Judgment franchises, and the studio already offered a tiny first glimpse of Yakuza 8 recently. It stands to reason RGG Summit 2022 will offer a bit more of Yakuza 8, potentially some Judgment announcements, and maybe a first glimpse at the new, unannounced franchise the studio has been working on.

Like Yakuza: Like a Dragon, Yakuza 8 will be another turn-based RPG with Ichiban Kasuga as the protagonist, and recent images confirmed Yu Nanba and Koichi Adachi are returning as well. It will additionally feature a new city. Meanwhile, Lost Judgment launched in September 2021, and DLC expansion The Kaito Files launched this past March. To date, the Judgment franchise has been unavailable on PC for some messy reasons, but who knows — perhaps RGG Summit 2022 will surprise us?

Let us know what sorts of announcements and reveals you’re hoping for from the event.
