RoboCop: Rogue City is a new first-person shooter from Teyon, the studio that created Terminator: Resistance. Unveiled during the Nacon Connect presentation from publisher Nacon, the teaser trailer sets the stage for Alex Murphy to clean the streets of Old Detroit when the game comes to unspecified consoles and PC sometime in 2023. We get a brief look at that sweet burst gun at least. Watch the RoboCop: Rogue City teaser trailer below.
Teyon and Nacon don’t give us much to go on past what’s shown in the trailer, but there is some information to be found on the RoboCop: Rogue City Steam page. The summary suggests that players will have some sort of say in how Alex Murphy’s story will play out:
Become the iconic part man, part machine, all cop hero as you attempt to bring justice to the dangerous, crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit. Armed with your trusty Auto-9, factory-built strength, years of experience on the force and a variety of tools at your disposal, you will fight forces seeking to destroy the city you call home in an all new first-person, explosive hunt for the truth. You have the power to decide how to fulfil prime directives in your own way, but as the story unfolds proceed with caution because corruption and greed know no limits.
