Sony has secured the mysterious “Qore” concept trademark for an online magazine.
The trademark, registered on April 28 by Sony Computer Entertainment America, is still in the early stages of the trademark process.
Qore is planned to be in the business of “computer services, namely, providing interactive online magazine and entertainment services in the field of videogames.”
Details from the trademark office are scarce, so speculation as to the potential purpose of “Qore” is about all readers have to examine. As with many trademarks, the “Qore” project may never even come to fruition, but it shows that Sony is still spawning fresh ideas for its games division.
