On both consoles, the game can run upward of 60 FPS, which is up from the previous 45 FPS. Additionally, dynamic resolution ranges for Jedi: Fallen Order have been improved on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. Post-processing resolution has been improved as well, but it doesn’t apply to Xbox Series S.

Specifically, the dynamic resolution on Xbox Series X offers “in the range of 1080p to 1440p” in Performance mode. Outside of Performance mode, post-processing has been increased to 4K, and the dynamic resolution is in the range of 1512p to 2160p.

The PlayStation 5-specific updates are a bit more limited. Post-processing is only increased to 1440p, and “Dynamic resolution has been disabled and the game is rendering at 1200p (up from 810-1080p).”

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order received a free content update back in May last year and also joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in November through the service’s collaboration with EA Play.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but you can run it with some enhancements on the new consoles now.
