This spinoff was revealed in July of this year and follows the mismatched team of clone troopers that first showed up in season 7 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Season 7 ended with the rise of the Empire, so you can think of Star Wars: The Bad Batch on Disney+ as a sort of sequel to the original animated series.
