Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury Trailer Reveals Big New Area & Kaiju Bowser

Nintendo has dropped a new Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury trailer, showcasing a whole new area that comes with the Nintendo Switch remaster for the new Bowser’s Fury mode. The video features around two minutes of the all-new area ahead of the game’s looming launch. If you missed out on the original title when it came to Wii U, it definitely looks like next month will be the perfect time to jump in.

The Bowser’s Fury trailer shows new, more open areas for Switch players to explore. Additionally, it looks like Bowser Jr. will accompany players in this mode, interacting with enemies and objects with his paintbrush. The end of the trailer is epic, teasing a kaiju-like battle between a giant Cat Mario and a particularly evil-looking Bowser. See the action-packed gameplay trailer below for a better look at what awaits next month.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury was announced in September of last year as yet another Switch port of a Wii U title. Given that console’s underwhelming sales, this new remaster will allow a much larger pool of players the chance to experience what they may have missed out on previously.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches for Switch players on Feb. 12.
