The Original Mafia Is Getting a Full Remake with the Upcoming Mafia: Trilogy

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

With the teaser trailer for the upcoming Mafia: Trilogy out in the wild, it seems Microsoft has posted up the store page for Mafia: Definitive Edition just a little bit too early. The store page reveals that Mafia 1 is getting a full remake, not just an HD remaster. The game has been remade from the ground up and will include an expanded story mode, updated gameplay, and the complete original score from the original game. The store page also reveals that the release date is Aug. 28, 2020.

Mafia Trilogy will be revealed in full on May 19, which is when you’ll probably see the game in action for the first time.
