Are you looking for new PC hardware for that special PC-gaming someone, or for yourself and are looking for the best bang for your buck? It’s nothing to be ashamed of if you’re not tech-savvy about the hardware available for a PC related to gaming and certainly don’t want to fork over the cash on overpriced hardware. So, we’ve come up with 8 items that would be great stocking stuffers for that special PC gamer in your family.
Xbox One Controller (PC)
Let’s just get the basics out of the way upfront. Even member of the PC Master Race needs a break from the Mouse/Keyboard setup once in a while. Can’t get much more versatile than this thing.
Logitech Gamepad F310
This one is much cheaper than it’s Microsoft equivalent but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t perform on the same level. I’ve used Logitech for years because I’m usually broke and I’ve never had any complaints.
Razer Vespula Dual-sided Gaming Mouse Mat
A very wide mouse pad that offers one side for precision and another side for smooth speed. Now I know what you’re thinking, “This is stupid, who would buy this thing?” Well, I can tell you with certainty that if you have a teenager that has ever talked to themselves in their room when it’s just them and the computer, then it’s them. They want a mousepad like this.
Vertagear S-Line SL4000 Racing Series Gaming Chair
Just look at this majestic beast of a chair. Are you staring at it? Are you getting relaxed and sleepy just thinking about how comfortable it is? Well knock it off, you’re not shopping for you, you’re shopping for the PC gamer in your family. Do you even game Bro? Do you?
Razer Blackwidow Ultimate
This is another one of those obvious choices for the PCMR. Not that other keyboards don’t perform as well but, there’s just something infinitely satisfying about the sound that mechanical keyboards make as you type away on them. Yes, I’m aware that other companies make mechanical keyboards but I think we both know which one you’d rather be using.
UtechSmart Venus 16400 DPI High Precision Laser MMO Gaming Mouse
I can’t be the only person that gets frustrated playing Guild Wars 2 without more hotkeys. I may be one of ten people still actively playing the game but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to be ready for when the PVP picks back up. This mouse actually has a more expensive counterpart manufactured by Razer. Both mice perform well for what they’re needed for and honestly, the only difference is the price and lighting options.
SteelSeries Siberia 200
SteelSeries has always made outstanding peripherals, these are no exception. Crystal clear sound, Suspension headband, pillowy soft ear cups, plus you can wear them for hours without experiencing that strange pain in your ears. Plus, they come in seven different colors, so there’s one for everyone.
Buffalo Classic USB Gamepad (SNES)
This one is really for the older crowd or those that appreciate the classics. Buffalo makes retro gaming controllers for your computer. They have one for pretty much every console made after ’87. This one makes the list because the Super Nintendo is something that a lot of current gamers started out on.
