Vikings: Valhalla is nearly here, and Netflix isn’t going to let anyone forget. It received a first look and release date last November. It received a teaser trailer last month. And now, ahead of the February 25, 2022 release date, Netflix has released the Vikings: Valhalla official trailer, offering the longest look at the new series yet. It sets up the characters, establishes some stakes for the brewing war, and has at least a couple naked people with one bare butt on display.
If you’ve been following the development of this new Netflix show that spins off from the majorly successful Vikings series, then you already know what it’s all about. But if not, here is a plot synopsis one more time:
Set over a thousand years ago in the early 11th century, VIKINGS: VALHALLA chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived ā the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). As tensions between the Vikings and the English royals reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs, these three Vikings begin an epic journey that will take them across oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory.
Enjoy the Vikings: Valhalla official trailer and count the days to its bloody final release.
