Sixteen great games. Eight tense match-ups. Round One begins now! Go vote!
Now that you’ve submitted your bracket predicting which games will reign supreme, it’s time to test out your hypotheses. Voting has now begun for the first round of the Reader’s Choice Game of the Year bracket. 16 games are pit against each other one-on-one in 8 popular votes. The game that receives the most votes advances to the next round while the loser is eliminated from your hearts and souls. You have one week to vote. Make your voice heard now.
There are a bunch of interesting match-ups in this first round. Will Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs beat out Nintendo’s darling Mario Kart 8? Can the creepy Alien: Isolation defeat Dark Souls II? Will Hearthstone survive its bout with the Dragon Age: Inquisition juggernaut? I don’t even know who is going to vote for Destiny, but you never know.
While you’re at it, you can check out all of the results in real-time, and discuss the battles in the official Reader’s Choice Game of the Year forum here.
Now’s your chance to give props to the most deserving game of the year. Voting is open for 7 days, closing on December 9th at 10am ET. Then the second round begins with 8 games eliminated. Tell all your friends to vote for the games they love so that they survive to the second round.
Head to the official tournament bracket to vote in all eight match-ups now!
