Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase Set for June

Microsoft has announced that it will host a joint Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase on June 13Ā  at 10 a.m. PST / 1 p.m. EST. General Manager Aaron Greenberg noted that the show will last 90 minutes and will feature a lineup of titles coming out of Bethesda’s acquisition, games coming out later this holiday period, and upcoming releases on Xbox Game Pass.

It’ll be interesting to see what gets shown at this event. However, one thing for sure is more information on Halo Infinite. For starters, the main promotional image for the showcase has Master Chief on it. The game is also slated to launch during the fall of this year. We know that Ninja Theory is working on Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Rare has Everwild. However, nothing has been shown of these two titles since their announcements, so it’s up in the air whether they’ll make an appearance here.

Double Fine is expected to release Psychonauts 2 this year as well, so it will most likely be at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. In terms of what we’ll see with Bethesda, while the company is owned by Microsoft now, Ghostwire: Tokyo and Deathloop have timed exclusivity on PlayStation 5.

Additionally, there’s a good chance we’ll get more information about Bethesda’s Starfield, particularly whether it’ll be exclusive to Microsoft’s ecosystem or be a multiplatform game. The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase should be an exciting event spelling out the future of Xbox, so make sure to tune in for it.
