Yakuza: Like a Dragon Launches in November with English Dub, PS5 Version Confirmed

Sega has announced that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be receiving an English dub and that George Takei and Kaiji Tang will be a part of the voice cast. Tang will be voicing the main protagonist of the game, Ichiban Kasuga. Takei will assume the role of Masumi Arakawa, the patriarch of the Arakawa family and mentor to Kasuga.

Other known actors in the cast are Andrew Morgado as Koichi Adachi, Elizabeth Maxwell as Saeko Mukoda, and Greg Chun as Yu Nanba. Chun is particularly notable as he also voiced the main protagonist, Takayuki Yagami, in the Yakuza spinoff game, Judgment.

A new trailer has also been released, providing a story overview of Yakuza: Like a Dragon showing off the English dub. Those who preorder the game will receive the Legends Costume Pack DLC, which includes cosmetic costumes of major characters from previous entries in the Yakuza series such as Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, and Ryuji Goda.

Revealed through IGN, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will release in November 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Xbox Series X version of the game will be a launch title for the console and support Smart Delivery, and a PlayStation 5 version will release at a later date. The Microsoft Store currently lists the PC release date of the game as specifically Nov. 13.
